Gmina Drawsko (administrative district) is known for the Notecka Forest, which abounds in forest fruits and edible mushrooms. In a part of this forest, near the village of Piłka, there is a Mushroom Park. What makes this park truly special is that the mushrooms here are really … giant. Don’t let the view deceive you, these are a maquette mounted across an area of 1 hectare.
The artificial mushrooms are human-sized, and sometimes even larger – the biggest one is a 3-meter-tall porcino. In the Mushroom Park, visitors can stroll among huge chanterelles, boletes, bay boletes, slippery jacks, yellow knights, and even fly-agarics and rare morels.
