A very challenging kayaking trail, perfect for a long weekend for buffs. It’s beautiful and clean, but the trail requires a lot of experience. Canoeing is possible only when water levels are high. It’s undoubtedly one of the most interesting rivers in central Greater Poland.
The Lutynia is a left tributary of the Warta River. Its source is in Korytnica near Raszków. It flows into the Warta near Orzechów on the edge of the Żerków-Czeszewo Landscape Park. In its lower course, it divides into several arms.
Trail for the Experienced
The Lutynia trail is 63 km long, but kayaking is possible on a 35-km section from Wola Książęca near Jarocin to the river’s mouth, and only at high water levels. It takes 3-4 days to complete the entire 35-km trail. However, the route can be divided into two weekend sections: from Wola Książęca to Podlesie (19 km) and from Podlesie to the Lutynia’s mouth in Orzechowo (16 km).
