An incredible piece of baroque architecture, located just a few kilometres south from the city of Leszno. Today the building serves as a luxurious hotel, however the historical part is open for visitors.
Known as “the island of kings” was the place, where in 10th century duke Mieszko I and king Bolesław Chrobry built a mighty stronghold with a stone palace and churches. The mysterious ruins are still there.
Magnificent baroque basilica, located at the top of Holly Mountain in Gostyń. It was modelled after the Santa Maria della Salute church in Venice. The basilica is topped with the largest dome in Poland.
