Rydzyna castle

An incredible piece of baroque architecture, located just a few kilometres south from the city of Leszno. Today the building serves as a luxurious hotel, however the historical part is open for visitors.

Ostrów Lednicki Island

Known as “the island of kings” was the place, where in 10th century duke Mieszko I and king Bolesław Chrobry built a mighty stronghold with a stone palace and churches. The mysterious ruins are still there.

The Holly Mountain Basilica
